Lee Tal-ro (Jeju SK) explained the meaning of advancing to the K-League.
As a Brazilian national, he moved to Jeju from Amazonas (third division league) last year and became the first player to play in the K-League. It was his first overseas expansion, but he did not receive attention as it was not a stellar career. His position was also a defensive midfielder, which had low expectations as he had relatively low interest compared to strikers.
However, he proved himself in the stadium. With outstanding physical and tremendous activity, he immediately became a key player of coach Kim Hak-beom. Jeju's decision to recruit Lee after seeing his performance as a player for Anajonas has paid off.
Lee Jeol-ro was reborn as a quality midfielder and signed a three-year contract with Jeju in July last year. This season, he will form the best midfield in the K-League with Nam Tae-hee, Oh Jae-hyuk, Kim Gun-woong, and Lee Chang-min, who will return to the team after fulfilling his mandatory military service in March.
On the 2nd, he was interviewed at the Kagoshima Hotel in Japan, a training site in Jeju.
